Hi,
I have built a Windows Server 2012 Failover Cluster as per standard documentation
The two nodes share SAN disk resources including 5 volumes and a dedicated quorum disk of 10GB size (Is 10 GB too much by the way)
Initially everything was OK and I was able to move disk resources from one node to the other without any issues
Yesterday and while trying to move disk resources between the two nodes I noticed that the quorum disk fails to move and it remains UP on the previously active node
When I attempt to drain resources from the active nodes , all disks including Quorum successfully move to the other node but when trying to move back the disk group the Quorum disk does not move
I tried to rebuild the cluster from scratch , I even deleted the Quorum disk from the Virtual environment (Vmware in my case) and re-create it but it didn't work
Please don't start a Vmware vs Hyper-V discussion here as this is out of the scope of this post
Any help would be appreciated
