We have a set of Web Servers grouped in 'clusters' using NLB. We are replacing the Transparent Firewall in front of the Web Servers. Originally, the Web Servers were using the IP of the Firewall as their Gateway Address. The New Firewall will not allow that, so we pointed the Web Servers to the IP outside of the Firewall, and they can get out and connections directly to the Server IP work, but connections to the VIP fail! My thought is that though we have changed the Gateway IP on both Web Servers in the 'Cluster', the VIP is still looking to the Firewall IP for the Gateway. What do I need to do to get the VIP responding to external queries? NLB does not have a native Gateway setting.... Do I need to tear down the NLB's and rebuild them with the new IP/Gateway settings?
