hi,
I'm creating a HA Hyper-V cluster.
i can create the cluster fine, only issue i'm having is when i go to create the cluster i am not seeing all the available subnets that should be there in the "Access Point for Administering the cluster".
I am using converged networks and want to use another subnet for the access point /management of the cluster to keep it off the main network.
So i can have heartbeat and stuff running on this.
If i do create it with the network i do see i can go in and start configuring the networks and move live migration off to one network but i dont want to disable cluster from seeing this network as this is the one setup as the access point.
or is this just an access point and the Cluster networking is handled purely from within the cluster.
so i can say, network 1 whcih is my mmgt OS network, will not allow Cluster traffic and then Network 2 will allow cluster traffic (and i'll configure Live migration for this network) then network 3 will allow cluster and client traffic and then this will be my cluster and cluster heartbeat traffic?
finding it hard to get my head around what traffic goes on what network!! :-/
Cheers
C
