Windows Cluster Node - Motherboard Replacement

Morning All,

I have a three node cluster which has had a faulty batch of motherboard (all three need replacing).

I was wondering, if I just shutdown the machine, replaced the motherboard and booted it back up, will it just work/remain in the cluster? I do understand a lot of system info will change, but does the cluster care about that info?

I dont want to have to evict the nodes because its a 3 node SQL cluster with cluster aware backup solution.

Do i really need to following this step on each node?

Uninstall SQL
Uninstall Backup Solution
Evict from Cluster
Replace Motherboard
Add to Cluster
Install SQL (Add Node)
Install Backup Solution

Any advise would be very helpful..

Many THanks

Jason
