certain mountpoints fail randomly on cluster failover

Hello,

We have 5 two node clusters running server 2008R2 with the latest service pack. These are SQL servers and are clustered for this application.  Every time we do a cluster failover, one of the mountpoints will fail on some or all of these clusters.  Sometimes it doesn't happen at all.  Even when we failback it still still doesn't work and the only way to fix at that point is the kick it completely out of the cluster and add it back on BOTH nodes in the cluster. Then and only then are we able to fail back and forth without failover.  However, the next time we do a failover, say a month later we are back in the same boat.  We never have issues with non-mountpoint luns in these environments, only mountpoints.  We use an HP san so we have opened tickets with them and they have found no issues. We have also opened a ticket with MS and their final recommendation was to recreate the LUN from scratch which we have done and still no fix.  We have another datacenter where this does not happen, the only difference being older equipment and different SAN (still HP).  We are following all best practices when using mountpoints in a cluster, so I please do not link me to that document.  Any ideas at all? Has anyone else had this issue?
