Adding a shared folder in Failover Cluster Manager: Error "This shared resources does not exist"

Hello,

I have 2 Windows 2008 R2 Ent server in a File Cluster.  On one of the empty LUN's (my F: drive) I have just restored 1TB folder called "user" (using Backup Exec 12.5) within that folder are 100's of user folders.  I have just gone to the Failover Cluster Manager to share this folder and I get the message:

"\\cluster-name\user: Flags for SMB shared folder cannot be configured.  This shared resource does not exist"

Now if I create an empty folder on the F: drive called "users123" for example and go through the same process it will share, with no problems.

I've just looked at http://support.microsoft.com/kb/947051 but don't understand the resolution, can anyone help?
