I have a file server that I was using to backup 2 HV hosts too. The issue was since it was a shared drive it would only keep 1 copy of the backup at a time.
In order to keep multiple copies I created a ISCSI disk/Target from my file server.
Since there are issues with having multiple targets writing to the same disk I created failover cluster on the 2 HV hosts so that they both are able to use the same drive.
However, while the disk shows for one of the hosts, the 2nd host will not allow me to bring the disk online.
I get the following error:
Is this not the correct way to achieve what I'm looking for?
If all else fails I suppose I could create multiple ISCSI Virtuald Disks of various sizes and share each one out to a host.
