Hello,
I am deploying Hyperv hosts that perform clustering using virtual MACs. I've enabled mac address spoofing, but as soon as I enable the clustering on the hosts and they try to use the virtual MAC, I lose all network communication to the hosts. It seems that mac spoofing does not work at all. So the interface starts with a 00-15-5D-xx-xx-xx mac, and when clustering is enabled it would add a virtual MAC like 00-09-0f-xx-xx-xx. With MAC spoofing I would have thought this MAC would be learned by the vswitch and work, but it does not seem to be.
Any assistance in this would be appreciated as I am not sure what else can be done to find the root cause.
Thank you.
