Hi,
We have a web based application that is hosted on 2 web servers, 4 application servers and a SQL cluster. They are all on MS Server 2008 R2 and 64 bit boxes.
The two web servers are receiving traffic as expected, but only 2 out of the 4 application servers are being hit at all. The 4 application servers all use the same VIP, all show as 'converged' within NLB Manager. The 2 of the servers receiving the traffic have Host Prioritry of 3 and 4. The 2 that are not being hit are priority 1 and 2.
The Port Rule for the Cluster Properties are:
Port Range - 0 To 65535
Protocols - Both
Filtering Mode - Multiple Host, Single
The Host Properties are all set the same on all 4 servers, so not sure why only 2 of the 4 are being utilized. There are over 10,000 active users, so I would assume all 4 boxes would receive traffic.
Any thoughts or ideas of what could cause this issue? Please let me know if there is additional information needed, as I will be more than happy to provide it.
Thank you
