Cluster Network Partitioned

I have a Hyper-V 2012 failover cluster with two nodes. There are 3 separate NIC teams that were set up through SCVMM. One of the teams shows up with the "Partitioned" status in the failover cluster manager (also, it is set to Cluster Only). Now, I know this is odd, but there is only one NIC currently in the team (we plan to add multiple NICs in the future to this particular team) but this is the only major difference between it and the other teams set up. The other part is that it's working perfectly. I can live migrate between hosts and the one VM that is currently using it is working great. So, I guess I'm unclear on what the "Partitioned" status actually means and if I should just ignore it at this point since everything is working great (I generally don't like to potentially rock the boat in these situations). Please let me know if you need any further info and thank you in advance for your time!
