My goal is a SQL-Always On group on a windows server 2012 R2 High Availability cluster.
Each server has two network cards. One used for external communication to the clients (Cluster and Client) and one used for internal communications (Cluster only).
I got the problem during configuration the networks, the internal network shouldn't take a turn over the switch, it should go directly without any other network hardware in it.
So I configured a network without gateway, which of course wasn't routed. (192.168.14.11/24 and 192.168.14.12/24 for the hosts) The host could ping each other without any problem.
But when I configured the Cluster, it didn't show the second network, and when added later, every time, one node crashed.
Did i miss something or isn't this possible?
