Strange issue : Cluster FQDN name is not valid.

Hello group, we have a very strange issue.

Our client historically used the domain name "domaine.local" to name his domain. (maybe it is related ?)

What we see in the MMC console has the cluster FQDN name is cluster-name-resource.domaine.local.domaine.local.domaine.local

Yes, the DNS suffix is appended three times.

However when we check the cluster name resource attributes with adsiedit we see :

dNSHostName = cluster-name-resource.domaine.local.domaine.local (suffix repeated only two times)

SPNs =  cluster-name-resource.domaine.local.domaine.local (suffix repeated only two times)

and

cluster-name-resource.domaine.local (suffix repeated only one time)

How can we change the FQDN to a normal value, is it possible, it seems like a bug...

PS : we did not check the cluster database and registry hive entries yet nor the cluster.log, maybe it holds the answer ?

PPS : DNS suffix of the nodes is OK

thank you for any assistance / input.
