On Windows 2012 I used this command to define two vm adapters:
add-vmnetworkadapter -managementos -vmnetworkadaptername "Cluster" -switchname "Lan Team Virtual Switch" add-vmnetworkadapter -managementos -vmnetworkadaptername "Migration" -switchname "Lan Team Virtual Switch" set-vmnetworkadaptervlan -managementos -vmnetworkadaptername "Cluster" -access -VlanId "1103" set-vmnetworkadaptervlan -managementos -vmnetworkadaptername "Migration" -access -VlanId "1104" disable-netadapterbinding -name "vEthernet (Cluster)" -Displayname "Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)" disable-netadapterbinding "vEthernet (Migration)" -Displayname "Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)"
When I run a cluster validation I get this error:
Adapters vEthernet (Cluster) and vEthernet (Migration) on node HV13.ad.milwaukee.gov have IP addresses on the same subnet. Why does it give me this error when each adapter is assigned to a different VLAN? Plus when I display the cluster networks it only shows one the of networks I defined.
