File Share witness vs Disk witness

Hi,

When configuring a Failover Cluster for Hyper-V based on Windows Server 2012, is it supported to use a Disk Witness from a 3rd site connected by iSCSI? The failover cluster will have 8 nodes, 4 in each datacenter. The witness will be placed in a 3rd site.

Using a Disk Witness is optimal due to the disk witness having a full copy of the cluster database:

That`s why we`re considering using a Windows Server 2012 VM on the 3rd site running the iSCSI Target Role to host the disk witness.
