Hyper-V Cluster - Dead Domain Controller

All are Windows Server 2012 R2 with Update and no patches. Fresh installs.

2 node hyper-v cluster.  Two virtual machines.

It appears the DC died from a patch install so someone decided to just set up a new DC.  The guests have been joined to the new domain, but not the hyper-v hosts.  We need this to run for about 3 more days.  Can we get away with that or do I need to re-join the hosts to the new domain ASAP?

How would I rejoin, anyway?  Please note the old domain controller no longer exists so there is no bringing it back.
