Hi All
Another issue Clustering but this Time with HyperV. I have a 4 node HyperV Failover Cluster with 7 drives attached, 1 drive is being used for Quorum and is 510MB in size the other Volumes are all added as "Cluster Shared Volumes" and 5 of the 6 volumes are 1TB in size the 6th volume is 1.3TB in size. We are using Microsoft System Centre Data Protection Manager 2012 R2 version 4.2.1312.0 to backup the Virtual Machines on the HyperV Cluster.
The problem I have is, on Volume 2 which is a 1TB drive we are using 595GB, I get this from going to C:\ClusterStorage\Volume2" selecting all the VM folders and then doing properties. But in Failover Cluster Manager it is reporting we only have 31GB free on this Volume (Yesterday this was 41GB, so over night the free space has gone down by 10GB but the space used by VM's has not changed). Volume 3 has the same issue, this is the 1.3TB drive and when I do a size check on all the VM's it reports 1.16TB being used by Failover Cluster manager reports it only has 46GB free.
I think the issue is with "System Volume Information" but when I run "vssadmin list shadowstorage" it reports "No items found that satisfy the query".
This is causing me some big problems because when the drive runs out of space the VM's that are on the Volume go into a "Paused" state.
If any one has any idea's all help grateful.
