Adding a SMB Share to CSV?

Hi,

I'm trying to add a SMB file share into CSV into a 3x2012R2 cluster. The SMB share is basically exposed by a NAS box so there is no intermediary. Is this possible? I can't seem to find this option. What i'm trying to do is like adding NFS shares into a ESX Cluster. I understand iSCSI connection is possible but using SMB share reduces the need to configure additional settings.
