Windows 2008 R2 Clustering - Changing Subnet problem

I have 2 Windows 2008 R2 servers running in a cluster.  Both have 2 NICs configured with the following networks (NIC 1 Primary Traffic) 10.160.2.0/23 and (NIC 2 SQL Backup data 10.160.136.0/24).  I need to change the 2nd nic from 10.160.136.0/24 to 10.160.136.0/23 because traffic from my SQL Servers on the 10.160.137.0 section of the network cannot connect and backup the data over the 136 VLAN.

When I turn off the cluster resources change the subnet then bring the resources online I get the following message when bringing online the network 10.160.136.0. "Failover Cluster Manager failed while managing one or more cluster. The error was ' The IP Address '10.160.136.0' is a special address and is not allowed.'. For more information see the Failover Cluster Manager Diagnostic channel."

What do I need to do to change the Subnet from a /24 network to a /23 network.
