how to manage a cluster without failover cluster manager console

Hi All,

I have a fail over cluster with 2 nodes(physical machines)The nodes have shared storage and one of the disk in the storage is used to create VM's in node1 now we created the AD in VM in node1.Recently i found that the AD was down because of which we have to restore the AD to a previous snapshot. After restoring the AD to previous snapshot all the machines which were joined to domain started giving trust relationship error. This error was in node1 too(were the AD was running in VM), so we tried to rejoin node1 to domain.

Once node1 was in work group it was evicted from the cluster. And now we are unable to join it to domain.

According to my understanding when node1 was un joined from domain the disk must have shifted to node2 but as Hyper-v service was not on cluster the AD stopped running. Please correct me if i am wrong.

(we were working on these machine remotely & remote was not enabled on node 2. so, we were unable to check node2.)

now, if we enable the remote & try to login to node 2 it will again throw the trust relation error but we can login to the machine using a local admin account.

i tried to login to a cluster node using the local admin account but was unable to access the Fail over manager console.

Is there any way to bring the Cluster Disk back to node 1 & run the VM again or how can i manage a cluster without failover cluster manager console.

Guys please help.

Thanks,

Pranay.
