Heartbeat is it still necessary on Windows 2012 hyper-v cluster?

Hi,

We have iscsi SAN and 2 servers with 4 nics each. We plan to create Hyper-v cluster with csv volumes and we plan such network configuration:

2 nics - iscsi
2 nics (team) - Production (public)

in this configuration heartbeat will go through Production network (not separate Heartbeat network (VLAN))?

Is this configuration supported by Microsoft? Or separate heartbeat network is still required or just recommended for redundancy in Windows 2012R2 cluster?
