migration of 2008R2 cluster to 2012 R2

friends apologies if this has been discussed number of times...i have a 2008R2 cluster running which is not connected to internet

now i understand there are many reasons for me to upgrade but i cant have a downtime.

can you guys please guide me .. if this is possible and how. the AD which i have currently is something which i dont want to use as this was created for some other stuff anf then i inherited for hyperV cluster and it has got a lot of bogus entries.. so i am thinking of creating a new AD but i understand in thatc ase i may have trust issues for the domain.

at last i have new host servers with better configuration sitting with me which i can use during migrations and then i want to add the current servers to the new servers cluster.

guys can you please confirm if i can have servers with different config/ processor GHz in one cluster. like Intel Xeon 2 and Interl Xeon 2.2 with few server on 128Gb .. few on 192 or 256

other doubt is ... can i just switch off my current host servers. and join the new servers to same domain .. configure a new cluster based on 2012R2 and then point the SAN to new server using iSCSI and remove connection from OLD server. this looks simple but i am not sure if this will work or not. in theory it looks as it will be just redirecting SAN to new server. and then importing the VMs.

at the end it a 2 node cluster running on windows 2008 R2

Thanks, Happiness Always
Jatin
