We are preparing HV cluster nodes. As of now 2 NICs are configured, one with default gateway and using for management and server is registered in AD integrated DNS using this IP, second NIC is configured for Live Migration without any gateway and this IP is reachable between all hosts and also configured for cluster heartbeat. Our concern is if the management interface goes down how it will affect the cluster, because cluster as well cluster node names are resolved by management IPs. Should we also add server names with second IP on all hosts with host file.
