adding node 2 -getting timeout period expired

Hi,

I had 2 node cluster running MS SQL Server 2012 in high availability mode. due to some problem node2 physically damaged. Then i rebuild node2 and now trying to add newly build node2 into cluster, while adding node2 into cluster getting "This operation returned because the timeout period expired".

i have checked node2 cluster services are not started, i tried to start but unable to start. following is report detail on adding node2 to cluster.

Add Cluster Nodes

Node:  Server02.ad.mydomain.net  
Started 4/13/2016 9:13:55 PM 
Completed 4/13/2016 9:20:14 PM 

Adding Server02.ad.mydomain.net to the cluster.
Validating cluster state on node Server02.
Getting current node membership of cluster clustername.
Adding node Server02 to Cluster configuration data.
Validating installation of the Network FT Driver on node Server02.
Validating installation of the Cluster Disk Driver on node Server02.
Configuring Cluster Service on node Server02.
Waiting for notification that Cluster service on node Server02.ad.mydomain.net has started.
Waiting for notification that node Server02 is a fully functional member of the cluster.
Unable to successfully cleanup.
The server 'Server02.ad.mydomain.net' could not be added to the cluster.
An error occurred while adding node 'Server02.ad.mydomain.net' to cluster 'clustername'.

This operation returned because the timeout period expired

Please guide what could be an issue and how to fix it.
