we have configured Hyper-V 2012 R2 cluster with below configuration
No: of nodes : 6 blade servers ( Dell)
No : network: 4 ( Mgmt:1gbps, VM:10gbps + VMQ enabled,CSV:1gbps,LM:10 gbps with jumbo frames enabled)
Network adapter: qlogic gigabit ethernet adapter
Backup solution :Symantec backup exec 2014,
Storage: Dell Compellent
No of: CSV :8 (2TB each)
The infrastructure was working perfectly, we have added 3 more servers to the cluster, the validation report shows everything green and installed the hot-fixes recommend by microsoft KB (https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2920151).
we have tested the live migration it was successful, when we started the backup of virtual machines after the above change, the nodes are losing connection to the CSVs. when a VMs is getting backed up which on the new nodes (node 7,8,9) the issue occurs, also if we tried to shutdown the problem causing node, it shows draining only and csv connectivity failure happening.
we have shutdown the new servers , after that the backup is working perfectly and no isseu with CSVs. we are getting bellow errors in cluster.
