Hi guys!
I'm looking for some help with a setup I'm trying to complete.
I need to create a share like \\fileserver\share over serveral big LUNs and it needs to be clustered.
So I have 5 10TB luns, the first thing I tried was to create a big dynamic disk using those 5 luns and add it to the cluster, however that doesn't work since dynamic disks are not supported and can't be added to the cluster.
Then I went for storage spaces, I tried to create a pool on the cluster using my 5 luns, but....storage spaces doesn't support fiber channel disks and all my storage is SAN based.
In my last attempt I tried to add my disks to Cluster Shared Volumes and use the scale out role, but this is not what I want.. since I have to create and share a folder on each volume and I just want to have a big share stripped across multiple volumes.
I researched a lot..but so far I couldn't find a solution to my problem.
So my question is.. does Windows have some way to create a share across multilpe volumes on a cluster?
Thanks for your help guys!!
