We've deployed a set of Management Servers running Windows Server 2012 R2 which our server department should use to remotely administrate all Windows Servers in the company, which works quite well so far.
However, the Failover Cluster Management MMC snapin in 2012R2 seems to be unable to handle 2008 R2 failover clusters, displaying this message:
"Connection Not Supported" / "The cluster to which you are attempting to connect is not a version of the cluster supported by this version of Failover Cluster Manager.
Question: Is there any way to remotely administrate 2008 R2 failover clusters from a 2012 R2 server?
