We have 2 physical servers that are hosts to all our hyper-vm. We have a 2-node failover cluster setup with all the hyper-vm storage on the clustered storage which is a iSCSI virtual HD.
1. Can we create a new failover cluster and move all the hyper-vm to the new cluster? If yes, how? What are the parameters I need to be aware inorder for a seamless migration.
2. If we move the vhdx file to a new machine, can we bring up the hyper-vm to its most recent state with all the settings or do we need anymore files along with the vhdx?
3. Backing up the VHDX files? or any additional files?
4. can we create a hyper-vm on azure with the vhdx file? how?
The reason we need to move to a new failover cluster which is on our 2ndary storage is to reset the primary storage and reconfigure from scratch.
