I'm setting up a Hyper-v Failover cluster for the first time and am unsure of when and why to put my disks into a pool or just create disks. I have (2) LUNs on my DAS. One RAID 10 with 15K drives in it for SQL and another RAID 10 with 7.2K drives for general
storage. I think creating two disks and not using a pool makes the most sense. However, I'm unsure of what circumstance using a pool would be better.
