Virtual Domain Controllers in a server 2016 hyper-v failover cluster

Hello,

I'm in the process of migrating our virtual servers to a Server 2016 hyper-v failover cluster. I'm doing this all through SCVMM2016 that's temporarily running on the two host cluster.

I've started migrating virtual servers from the main host and I just realized that running a virtual DC on a failover cluster was not a supported configuration in Server 2012, however SCVMM moved it to the new cluster without any issues or warnings. Is running a DC this way supported now?

I also have a physical domain controller running so should this one fail it's not going to kill me right now, just want to check so I can move it back out to a different host at least temporarily if needed. Another host is live migrating right now so I'm hesitant to do anything with the VDC while it's happening.

Thanks!
