The last couple of days we have seen issues on Windows 2008 R2 clusters.
The symptoms on the servers are:
-The system evenlog is filled with DistributedCOM errors.
-The starting events is a Tcpip Warning 4227.
-The resources will fail over to the not yet effected node, but after a while we see the same happening on the second node.
-The server has problems with kerbose authentication
I compared the effected nodes and found the following common factors
-Windows 2008 R2 SP1
-Convenience Rollup KB3125574 is installed
-All clusters are running DFS file sharing resources.
All the effected clusters have been running without issues before the Convenience Rollup, so we are suspection that but we're unable to find any lead why this happens.
