I've got a few physical 2008 (non-R2) servers running a number of different versions of SQL in a failover cluster configuration. I've got 3 new servers with 2008 R2 installed that I want to migrate all of the clustered SQL instances to. I've found a good article on Microsoft's website, but the SQL migration information is limited to SQL version upgrades.
I basically need to create a new cluster, and run the migration wizard. Between these two tasks I believe I also need to install SQL. However, which install options am I selecting as I don't want to setup a new local instance or new clustered instance and it appears I need SQL installed before running the Failover Cluster Migration Wizard.
Thanks in advanced for any help you can provide.
