Unable to migrate virtual machine in vmm created in VMM

Greetings.

I'm new to Hyper-V and am wondering whether the sympton I'm having is normal or there is something wrong with my config.

I have a 2-node Hyper-V 2012 cluster. Cluster validation thru Cluster Manager is ok.

The issue I'm having is that, if I create a vm via cluster manager, I can live migrate it between the hosts with no issues using either Cluster Manager or VMM 2012.

If I create a vm via VMM, I'm unable to Live Migrate it anywhere using VMM, and this guest doesn't appear in Cluster Manager.

Is this normal behaviour, or have I done something wrong? If so, any suggestions on what to look for?

I have creayed a CSV, in which the vm's are being stored.
