Failover Cluster Network reconnect failed - Windows Server 2008 R2

Hi everybody!

I´ve got an network issue in a Windows Server 2008 R2 Failover Cluster.

It is a SQL Server Failover Cluster, but I think this is irrelevant.

Following behavior occurs:

Everthings ran fine until now; Cluster validation succeeds everytime;
and now....

Disconnecting the network cable of the Client-Network on Node1
to test the reaction of the cluster...

Failover.... OK ...everythings running on the other node.

Status on Node1:

IP Resource Failed.

Client Network: unreachable.

Re-Connecting the cable to Node1...

And: Nothing happens! The Client-Network is still
"unreachable" and "partitioned".

I whatched the whole cluster configuration. Everything´s standard.
(except the MSDTC Resource, which shouldn´t effect other resources
to fail over if its restart ist unsuccessful)

Important: The Operating System recognizes the correct state
of the network connection, everytime.

This doesn´t occur at the Heartbeat Network!

I also noticed the following:

Rebooting the effected Node helps, so the cluster recognizes that the network is UP.

Disabling and enabling the network adapter also helps.

What could this be?

Any Idea?

Many Thanks in advance,
and greetings!
