Hi,
VMware has the option to disable Host Monitoring when performing network maintenance tasks:
When it comes to Failover Clustering, especially Hyper-V clusters, it doesn`t seem to be a similar option as far as I know.
The only possibility is to place all workloads on one host and shutdown or pause the cluster service on the other nodes.
When it comes to Hyper-V, if the Virtual Machines must be running even when the cluster fails, one option is to remove them from the cluster. However, this seems like a bad option since the clustered virtual machine will loose all customized cluster settings.
Does this seems like a correct theory?
