Hi,
I have setup several Hyper-V 2012 R2 Fail Over Clusters without any issues.
I setup a brand new Hyper-V 2012 R2 Cluster using the Dell VRTX Shared storage as the CSV as I have before for other clients.
I have two idenitcal Dell M630 blades that i'm using. The Fail Over Cluster built without any issues and verified the network, Quorum drive and CSV were valid and built the cluster.
I then created the first VM and added it as a clustered VM in the Fail Over Cluster Manager.
I then tried to Live Migrate from one node to the node. The Live migration will start and then just sets on 54% completed and will eventually fail to migrate after about 20-30 minutes.
This is the error message I get.
Live migration of 'Virtual Machine APP1' failed.
Virtual machine migration operation for 'APP1' failed at migration source 'VRTX2'. (Virtual machine ID A34E6F00-71DE-4D5A-A704-71E190B27508)
'OLRDAPP' Failed to transfer virtual machine state: This operation returned because the timeout period expired. (0x800705B4). (Virtual machine ID A34E6F00-71DE-4D5A-A704-71E190B27508)
I have checked the NIC settings on both nodes and turned off TCP offloading for both IPv4 and IPv6.
I tried migrating over both my Storage network and the internal domain network and both get me the same results of Live Migration fails.
The odd that is that I can do a Quick Migration without any problems to either node.
I needing some help with this if anyone can let me know what the issue is or what commands i should run to troubleshoot.
Thanks in advance
