HI,
I currently have a general file server cluster setup with 4 x (Dell R620) nodes and 1 x (Dell PowerVault MD 3420) DAS Storage. Everything works as intended, fail over, performance etc. However the extra server resources are wasted because only one node is actively serving. So, I was wondering if I could
1. convert existing general file server cluster to a scaled out file server cluster
2. convert existing volume (12TB) to a CSV
3. create a general file server cluster 2x vm within SoFS
4. Place a VHDX (12TB) within the CSV
5. Mount the VHDX within file server cluster
6. Achieve active/active file share server with 4 nodes?
Please let me know if this setup works or you have a better solution, Any help would be greatly appreciated,
