I have a Failover Cluster created with 2 nodes. Currently there are 5 networks available (Cluster Network 1 (2x1Gb/s teamed), iSCSI 1, iSCSI 2, Live Migration, and CSV) showing up. They are running Windows 2012 datacenter.
Each node has 8x 1Gb/s connections: 4 for iSCSI, 2 (teamed switch independent) for Cluster Network, 1 for LM, and 1 for CSV.
I have added an Intel x710-2 10Gb/e to each node with the intention of speeding up live migrations and later adding 10Gb/s to the Cluster Network 1. I have renamed the interface Live Migration 2 on each node.
I have configured port 1 of these cards to 172.50.1.3 and .4 and set up my switches to be untagged on vlan 50 (my live migration vlan). Both nodes can ping each other as well as the current LM ip's of 1.1 and 1.2
Question: How do I get my new 10Gb interface to show up in Failover Cluster Manager so that I can select it for live migration settings?
Adding the 2nd 10Gb/s to the Cluster Network should be easy as I can just add it to the team. (I hope)
Thank you for any advise,
Terry
