Adding Node to Cluster changes disk configuration - just curious if this is by design

Hey there,

i had already a problem with configuring two existing hyper-v server to a cluster because the disks were configured like Windows wanted it.

This time i had only 1 server in the cluster after evicting the second one. I checked the disk config - quorum disk were configured / one CSV and one other disk were "available" but not configured as cluster disk. On this disk some "non clusted" machines were running

So i thought adding a server who has access to the quorum and the CSV disk should change nothing.

But after pressing "next" the available disk were configured as disk quorum, causing all the hyper-v guests to fail. So i don't get why the config was changed. The new server could not even see this disk?!?
