File share failover between two sites (Server 2012 Standard's).

Hello again.

I have two servers (both are Server 2012 Standard's) at different sites (interconnected by site-to-site VPN over wan/broadband). Both servers have different names and their own storage. I have a bunch of shares on site one server that can be also accessed at the other site (site two). 

Is it possible, at site two, to create a failover to the shares on site one a way that if the VPN/connection fails between the sites, the same shares are still available at site two with the same share path/UNC path.
