Hello,
I have two cluster nodes running the Hyper-V edition of Windows Server, have enabled all the relevant features, installed and configured clustering, have a VM etc.... I can use all the other MMC's remotely but I have a problem with the Cluster Automatic Updating console.
I can create a CAU profile, and even run it and everything works fine, but one thing I can not do is run the best practices analyser using the gui, I can only run the Test-CauSetup locally on a node to test my configuration. everything passes fine, but it bugs me that I cant use the GUI console to do this. I have tried running the console as an administrator but still no luck.
the only message I get is "there was an error analyzing cluster update readiness2 in a critical error dialog box, but nothing seems to go in the event logs of the remote machine I am managing it from, no in either of the cluster nodes. I have also ran Enable-PSRemoting on both nodes, and altered a GPO for Impersonate a client after authentication user right
any help is much appreciated,
thank you
Steve
